Alice Catherine Jewellery started during the first COVID lockdown when its founder, Alice, bought herself a jewellery making kit while furloughed from her job. She quickly became skilled at crafting beautiful jewellery using locally sourced sea glass, and approached me to design a logo for the launch of her business.
The resulting logo takes shapes from the sea glass used in some of Alice’s pendants, overlapping each other to create an abstract, intertwined emblem and incorporating muted green tones often found in sea glass from this part of the world.
Since we worked together Alice Catherine Jewellery has gone from strength to strength, and Alice now has her own studio in Stornoway on the Isle of Harris which is open to the public.
